The newly opened ASP warehouse and headquarters in Independence, KY is a shining example of how architects and developers create buildings together. This is a 55,000 sq. ft. building that houses office space for customer service, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving and design services. There are also training rooms and an impressively large and elegant break room that can double as an entertainment space. The rack systems in the warehouse allow for auto feeding for restocking. This is accomplished with integrated rollers that are angled enough to let gravity do the work. Also, the concrete floor is no ordinary concrete floor. In order for their 100% electric fork lifts to raise an employee 30 feet into the air to reach the top shelves, the floor needed to be specially certified for flatness and levelness across the building!
