The most fun sign in the world designed by Emboss is Unveiled! Congrats to Perfetti Van Melle!

Would calling Airheads an “American Icon” be a stretch too far? I think not.

Emboss has the absolute best clients. Our client, Pefetti Van Melle, recently revealed their new super-fun, super-sized, new outdoor 3-d sign featuring their mascot, Oscar the red balloon. The design of this sign was so fun. Each of the vertical bands of color represents a different flavor and color of Airheads. Airheads that are produced right here in Northern Kentucky.

Lest you forget that Northern Kentucky is home to a national treasure – an iconic candy brand loved by generations of Americans – this sign is here as a reminder of the inimitable worldwide brand that Perfetti Van Melle has created with Airheads.

Funny personal story – Everything Perfetti does is fun and out-sized. It’s part of their ethos and it’s one of the things that makes them great. Every time my team and I would go for a site visit, we were gifted with ungodly amounts of Airheads and an over-sized Airheads beach towel. Last summer, at my family’s annual whiffle-ball home run derby, we placed the Airhead beach towel on a clothesline in the outfield. Anyone that hit the towel with their chance at bat won the grand prize – a basket full of Airheads!
